Four Products to Add Wellness to Your Home Office

Four Products to Add Wellness to Your Home Office

Whether you work from home regularly or find yourself caught at home on a snow day, I wanted to share some of my favorite fit and fun things to have around the house when I’m working from home.

A Stability Ball Chair

By far my favorite feature of my “home office” is my stability ball chair. It’s a great way to engage your core throughout the day and keep yourself entertained on boring conference calls. The other great benefit is that it does double duty since you can use it as a chair from day to day and take the ball off the chair stand and do at-home workouts. If you want to have a stability ball at home, getting the stability ball + chair is a no-brainer to make your space more functional and not have a giant ball rolling around your living room all the time. (If your office space is carpeted, I recommend grabbing a mat for your chair as well.)

Standing Desk

If you work from home frequently, a standing desk is definitely something to consider. My fiancé works from home and LOVES his Ikea standing desk. Not only is it affordable and easy to use, a standing desk affords you the opportunity to customize the height of your desk when you’re sitting so that your desk is at the right height for you. He’s tall so the standing desk lets him get the perfect height to work successfully both standing and sitting.

Hand Weight Set

On rainy or snowy days when I don’t want to leave the house, I love using this hand weight set I grabbed on Amazon. These weights store up super easy and are great to use with Daily Burn or obé at-home workouts. I keep my set right by the TV so it’s easy to pick them up and do a quick set of curls while watching New Girl (again) when I’m feeling extra motivated. If you focus mostly on at-home barre workouts, this set is a good bet!

Humidifier/Diffuser

A game-changer in my work-from-home enjoyment has been the addition of both a humidifier and a diffuser. I love using the diffuser with delicious essential oils to keep things calm and happy in the “office.” I’ve grabbed both inexpensive essential oils at Whole Foods and splurged on a favorite from my local yoga studio. I’ve also added a humidifier in the winter months, which has been crucial to combat dry skin and dry eyes during these winter months.
