October 19 - Weekly Round Up
Happy Friday, friends! It finally feels like fall and I have plans to watch Hocus Pocus and eat pie tonight - HOW AMAZING DOES THAT SOUND?! Anyway, hope you all have a wonderful weekend full of making slow cooker recipes and taking a bike ride (either amongst the foliage or amongst all your sweaty friends in a dark room).
barre3 Navy Yard opens on Monday and you can get your first class FREE here. If that location is good for you, consider grabbing their founding membership deal - $149 for unlimited monthly classes (regularly $180)!
I’ve been trying out Classpass this month and using it sample out new-to-me studios like MADabolic and go back to favorites like [solidcore] and FlyBarre. If you haven’t tried Classpass, get started with $40 free!
Here’s what’s on the radar this weekend:
Saturday: Studio Barre is hosting a free class in Alexandria!
Saturday: Take a Saturday stroll through Georgetown and sneak in a yoga or Zumba class at lululemon. Class is just $15 and goes to charity!
Sunday: mindbodygreen is in town this weekend and hosting a total body workout and meditation for $20 (the free breakfast and promising swag bag make it totally worth it, imho).
Upcoming: well+read is back with their October event at PULSE House Fitness. Try out a session on the Versaclimber and then engage in a discussion about loneliness. More info here.
As always, find out more upcoming and FREE events on our Events page!
I keep hearing about this vegan queso and need to try!
I went to a great event with Ladies Get Paid last night. If that intrigues you - sign up for their newsletter and look for upcoming events. (Not exclusive to ladies! Caleb came last night and had a blast.)
Photo via sweetgreen - now please excuse me while I go order another of their fall salads.
