Barre3 14th Street is thrilled to once again host a parents + kids barre3 class to benefit The Homeless Children's Playtime Project!

The mission of the Homeless Children's Playtime Project is to nurture healthy child development and reduce the effects of trauma among children living in temporary housing programs in Washington, D.C. The organization seeks to create a city that provides every opportunity for children in homeless families to succeed by ensuring consistent opportunities to play and learn, offering support services for families, and advocating for affordable housing and safe shelter.

Saturday, December 14 at 2PM

The 30 minute class will take place in our treehouse-like studio at barre3 14th Street (1832 14th St NW).

No fee for class! Instead, please bring a donation in the form of a $25 Uber, Lyft or Metro gift card. HCPP is also collecting collect curriculum items, including pre-made slime to use in their programs, coloring books for ages 5 and up, crayons, and learning activity books. All donations will go directly to HCPP.

Bring your child and plan to participate in class together (no drop-offs)!

To register: Space is limited, so reserve tickets here on Eventbrite and indicate how many adult/children's spaces you need. If you're new to barre3 14th Street we will follow up with an online waiver for you to complete before you arrive.

2:00PM - 2:15PM: Check-in and collection of donations

2:15PM - 2:45PM: Interactive barre3 class with your kids - we will move together to lift the heart rate, get warm and have fun!

2:45PM - 3:00PM: Snacks, juice, raffle prizes, and closing words from our representative from the Playtime Project
