About Well Read: We meet monthly at different locations across The District. Everywhere from restaurants to cafes, fitness studios to apothecaries. Though the backdrop changes the mission stays the same: we work our bodies and minds, together 🤗

Well Read packs a one-two punch 👊

We start with 30-60 minutes of a wellness (e.g. yoga, meditation, breath work, HIIT, boxing). This is a celebration of everything our bodies can do.

We finish our time together with content discussion, delving into the 💩 that matters...personal finance, friendship, love, career, social justice, diet culture, and so much more. We read articles, listen to TED talks/podcasts, etc. Check out our Instagram to get a sense for what we talk about. The goal is to get vulnerable and meet some new friends along the way.

What to Expect this Month:

The Wellness - 30 minutes of guided meditation from the experts at The Glow Club. You’ll leave feeling connected to the world that exists within you, so you can mindfully experience everyday life.

The Content - Time's article about climate anxiety, "Terrified of Climate Change? You Might Have Eco-Anxiety" We'll talk about what we can do as individuals through our purchasing power 💪 and using our voices for advocacy 📣 in order to work towards a more sustainable future.
