About Well Read: We meet monthly at different locations across The District. Everywhere from restaurants to cafes, fitness studios to herb shops. Though the backdrop changes the mission stays the same: we work our bodies and minds, together 🤗
Well Read packs a one-two punch 👊
We start with 45-60 minutes of a wellness (e.g. yoga, meditation, breath work, HIIT, boxing). This is a celebration of everything our bodies can do.
In between sessions, we refuel with snacks from local brands and vendors.
We finish our time together with an article discussion, delving into the 💩 that matters...personal finance, friendship, love, career, social justice, diet culture, and so much more. Check out our Instagram page to get a sense for what we talk about. The goal is to get vulnerable and hopefully meet some new friends along the way.
What to Expect this Month:
The Workout - We're heading to one of our favorite workouts, barre3 14th Street, for 45-minutes of strength conditioning, cardio and mindfulness led by instructor Paige L.
The Snacks - We'll have a make your own trail-mix bar with fresh fruit, nuts, dark chocolate 🤤 There will also be plenty of sparkling water and non-alcoholic beverages.
